A 2014 domestic violence allegation has caught up with Joe Budden yet again. A warrant for the rapper’s arrest has been issued following a missed court date on Thursday (May 28), TMZ reports.

Last August, Budden was accused by his ex-girlfriend, Audely Robles, of choking, slamming and beating her after discovering photos of her with another man. Robles claimed that Budden arrived at an NYC restaurant where the assault began, before taking her to his New Jersey home where he allegedly continued his attack. Budden later denied Robles’ version of the night in question. He was reported as “wanted” by the NYPD thereafter, for also taking his ex-girlfriend’s cellphone.
This week’s hearing was in response to the abuse claims. Budden nor his lawyer have released a statement regarding the warrant as yet.
