Stephen Curry Will Reportedly Be Crowned 2014-15 NBA MVP
The Golden State Warriors’ saving grace Stephen Curry will reportedly be named this season’s NBA’s Most Valuable player. According to a source for USA Today who is “familiar with the outcome of the media vote,” the 27-year-old point guard will edge out the Houston Rockets’ James Harden, who came in second with votes for the honor.
Currently 1-0 in the Western Conference Semifinals against the Memphis Grizzlies, Curry averaged 23.8 points, 7.7 assists, and two steals per game. Shooting 44% from three-point range, Curry won the league’s Foot Locker Three-Point Contest during All-Star weekend. The Warriors also hold the league’s best record of the season with 67-15.
