VH1 Save The Music To Host Panel To Advocate For STEAM Education


VH1 Save The Music Foundation and a diverse panel of musicians and educators will host a town hall assembly Thursday (May 7) to discuss the importance of STEAM Education.

STEAM, which is an acronym for science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics, is a new initiative designed to further develop a more well-rounded educational experience for children, and prove the arts can help students excel in other areas. Panelist include Grammy nominated R&B artist Kenny Lattimore, Golden Globe nominated actor Masi Oka as well as other educational luminaries.

For 18 years, VH1’s Save The Music has been diligent in showcasing the direct correlation between music education and its benefit on children’s education, self-expression and self-esteem.
