‘DOPE’ Soundtrack Features Hip-Hip Royalty Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Naughty By Nature And Public Enemy

The forthcoming film DOPE enlisted some timeless artists to fill their soundtrack.

Curated by CFDA Fashion Icon Pharrell Williams, the compilation hosts melodies from Queens natives Nas, A Tribe Called Quest, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees Public Enemy and the party-starters Naughty By Nature.

However, don’t expect to hear new tunes from these aforementioned emcees. To fit the theme of the movie (three teens who transport ’90s Hip-Hop culture into the new millennium), the songs listed include “The World Is Yours” from Nasir to the house party staple, “The Humpty Dance,” from Digital Underground.
