Lil Wayne Says Birdman Put Young Money In Jeopardy Of Losing Drake And Nicki Minaj

Lil Wayne’s disdain for Birdman just won’t let up.

In the latest development on his seemingly never-ending lawsuit against his former Cash Money mentor, Wayne apparently expressed doubt about his Young Money label being able to hold onto Drake and Nicki Minaj. According to TMZ, Weezy claims that Birdman’s poor artist management caused failure to pay out profits, which in turn may cost the rapper his two highest-earning and most popular signees.

Court documents revealed earlier this year that Wayne was looking to sever ties between Young Money and Cash Money. In a play to retain his roster, the rapper made clear that he would be looking to collect his $51 million, as well as take full control over his label. One obstacle standing in his way, however, is that Birdman owns a cool 51 percent of Young Money, in comparison to his 49.

Birdman has so far remained radio silent about the entire lawsuit. Lil Wayne, however, has been taking shots at every turn. He recently announced that his Free Weezy Album will be released on July 4, which will likely be filled with a plethora of Baby disses.
