Slim Jimmy of Rae Sremmurd gets injured during Governors Ball set
Governors Ball is off to a rainy start in New York but the three-day music show on Randall's Island will go on.
One of the festival's first performers this year were turn-up tag team champs, Rae Sremmurd. While rocking the crowd to hits from their SremmLife LP, Slim Jimmy suffered a leg injury on stage. According to Twitter:

VIBE's Mikey Fresh is on-site and says Swae Lee continued to perform the entire set, ending with their biggest smash "No Type" and dedicating it to Jimmy, who reportedly had a piece of glass stuck in his leg.

Update: Slim Jimmy posted a video reassuring fans that he's doing well. He also shared a photo of the gruesome injury which you can view at your own discretion below.

@jxmmis just underwent successful surgery to close his wound after slipping off the speaker at the Governors Ball and falling into a glass spotlight front stage. He didn't break anything and will be fully recovered asap. Jxmmi only had one comment to the fans "#SremmLife"
