Tyrese And Rev Run's Relationship Talk Show Is Heading To OWN
OWN has picked up Tyrese and Rev Run's talk show
After collaborating for their successful book Manology, music OGs and life gurus, Tyrese and Rev Run, will join forces once again for a new relationship talk show on Oprah’s OWN Network.
The yet-to-be-titled talk show will revolve around the duo dishing advice to lovers everywhere. It will feature a live audience, celebrity guests, and a social media platform where viewers can ask their burning questions on relationships, love, marriage and sex.
According to Deadline, Sheri Salata, OWN Network President, said that the network was here for the show from jump.
“When Rev Run, Tyrese and CBS came to us with the idea of a primetime series, we were energized by the chance to bring OWN viewers something fresh and entertainingly real in the ‘love space,’” said Salata. “We can’t wait to turn them loose – enlightening us all about what makes men tick.”
Season one will consist of eight episodes rolling out weekly and will be the first collaboration between OWN Network and CBS Corp. for an original production.
Scott Koondel, CBS' executive vice president and chief licensing officer, says the show is sure to entertain.
"We are thrilled to be in business with OWN on our first original production for the network," said Koondel. "Combining the enormous popularity of Tyrese and Rev Run with engaging topics like love and relationships will make a very entertaining hour for viewers."
The show will air on OWN in early 2016.
