This 97-Year-Old Dancing With Her Great-Granddaughter Will Give You All The Feels
We dare you not to smile.
Here is one video that proves you can still “do your thang” no matter how old you are.
When Alexis Taylor took to Facebook to share a precious moment between her eight-year-old daughter Alaria and her 97-year-old grandmother, she probably had no idea it would go viral. Featuring the musical stylings of girl group Fifth Harmony, Alaria busts out a few dance moves to their single “Worth It” before grandma begs the glorious question, “You want me to do my thang?” Pigtails and walking cane included.
Joining in with her great-granddaughter, grandma becomes the star of the two minute clip, which has garnered over 2.3 million views since it was shared on June 27. The YouTube video has rounded up over 250,000 views as well. Taylor initially posted the cuteness overload with a caption that let her followers know that grandma is “always ready.”
“My granny always ready yall dancing with her great granddaughter Alaria!! She's 97 years old yall still dancing!! Love my granny!!” she wrote.
