After Getting The Proof She Needed, Jill Scott Slams Bill Cosby On Twitter


Before court documents revealed Bill Cosby admitted to using Quaaludes to drug and rape a woman in 2005, singer-scribe Jill Scott publicly stood by the comedian, while many in the court of public opinion rendered a guilty verdict.

Now Scott is singing a different tune. In a series of Tweets Monday, (July 6) Jilly from Philly speaks on the hurt and shame she’s now experiencing after learning her mentor was actually guilty of the allegations leveled at him.


Jill Scott wasn’t the only one who supported Cosby. Comedians Whoopi Goldberg and Faizon Love also came to Cosby’s defense. So far, both have not commented on Cosby’s 2005 admission.
