Lee Daniels Confirms Tyrese Will Appear On Season Two Of Empire
First Kelly Rowland, now Tyrese? Empire is pulling out all the stops this season.
Well look what we have here? Another high-profile celebrity making their way to FOX's hit scripted-drama, Empire.
Lee Daniels took to his Instagram account Thursday (July 9th) to announce Tyrese would be joining the cast for season two. The news comes on the heels of Kelly Rowland also being added as Lucious Lyon’s mother.
The Monster's Ball producer also put an end to the rumor mill and said he wasn't leaving his beloved show, which drew in 21.1 million viewers at the time of the finale. Instead, he's working double duty directing the Richard Pryor film.
Yes! Stop asking!!! #tyrese is coming on #empireseason2 And NO, I am not leaving my show! I just wrapped my 1st episode ... I got #richardpryor to do! It was so much fun directing our wonderful cast ... I miss and love them ALL... Sorta 😔 sad cause I'm not with them now but I'll be back for the finale!! In the meantime we got some badass directors stepping in!!! #family #fox #empire #gottagettomakingmovies #iaintmadeamoviesincethebutler
