Vic Mensa Covers Future’s “Codeine Crazy” At Pitchfork Festival

Future Hendrix has the #FutureHive going crazy with his new album, DS2. So much so, that his recent release is expected to top the Billboard charts with projected sales between 125,000 to 135,000 units.

Now, #FutureHive has a new member on its roster with Vic Mensa. During the Roc Nation’s artist his set at Chicago’s Pitchfork Music Festival yesterday (July 19), the “U Mad” rapper covered Future’s addictive cut “Codeine Crazy,” a song off the Freebandz CEO’s Monster mixtape.

With a live band backing him, Mensa may have crooned Future’s po-up-and-sip-summin’ banger better than Future.
