Meek Mill’s “Wanna Know” Diss Track Has One Supporter: Azealia Banks

Whilst the Internet continues to slander Meek Mill over his too-long-awaited on-wax strike at Drake, “Wanna Know,” the MMG rapper has a supporter in Azealia Banks. The Harlem rapstress took to Twitter on Friday (July 31) to compliment the diss track by saying it has “a nice little bounce and edge to it.” Calling Drake proponents “bandwagon a** n***as,” Banks–never one to hold her tongue or thumbs–admitted that she liked Meek’s track.

Meek Mill’s beef with Drake was sparked by the rapper’s own Twitter rant during which he claimed that Drizzy does not pen his own rhymes. After a whirlwind week of reference track releases and a seemingly brief rap battle that included two songs from Drake, “Charged Up” and “Back To Back,” Meek’s rap reply was not met with much fanfare. A majority of the masses seem to have sided with Drake in the matter, but Banks has challenged popular opinion. She also pointed out another piece of information she really wanted to know in regards to the two rappers.
