Gina Rodriguez Kicks Mad Flavor In Your Ear At Teen Choice Awards
Gina Rodriguez, clearly a woman of many talents, unexpectedly opened the 2015 Teen Choice Awards on Sunday, Aug. 16, with rhymes and braggadocio.
The Jane the Virgin actress, 31, took the stage at the University of Southern California’s Galen Center alongside co-hosts Ludacris and Josh Peck. Upon Luda putting Rodriguez on the spot, the Puerto Rican actress was prompted to put her rapping skills to the test.
“This is for you, Luda,” Rodriguez quipped before spitting, live on national television. “Ludacris goin’ in on the verse, ’cause I never been defeated and I won’t stop now / Get your hands up, get ‘em in to sky for the homies that didn’t make it — the folks locked down,” she rapped. “All I do is win, win, win, no matter what, Luda!”
