J.Cole’s notoriety and celebrity has increasingly risen since his 2011 major label debut Cole World: The Sideline Story. Now as a bonafide star, selling out MSG, it’s to the surprise of no one that sometimes Jermaine may need to unplug and get away.
In a new short film from BallySwiss, Cole travels to Jamaica where he hikes and enjoys the serenity of the island’s famous Blue Mountains. While there, the 2014 Forest Hills Drive emcee also steps foot in Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong studios to record new music.
Watch as Cole tinkers with the guitar, travels through Jamaica and enjoys the quiet of the beautiful Blue Mountains.
