Kali Uchis Is The Ultimate Introvert In Her “Loner” Video

Colombian singer/songwriter Kali Uchis just dropped a video to her ballad dedicated to the introvert in you, “Loner.”

A cotton candy pink-clad Uchis finds herself hanging out an abandoned local drive-in and sipping milkshakes by her lonesome. Director Andy Hines cleverly interpreted the singer’s notions of finding comfort in her own solitude throughout the four-minute visual. (Peep her “Beat it creep” t-shirt and you’ll realize she’s not playing any games.) “I wanted this music video to portray a strong sense of being very grown, content alone and feeling yourself,” she told Dazed.  “I was inspired by mermaids, call-girls, the actress Mia Farrow, the film Scarface and the director Quentin Tarantino.”

Peep the stylish visual here.
