Brian Randolph, 23, reportedly walked into a Vibe Credit Union and handed the teller a note demanding money. The note also said he had a gun, which was hidden in his clothes but Randolph reportedly never showed a weapon and authorities confirmed he didn’t have one.

Randolph has been charged with armed robbery and his bond has been set at $500,000. Randolph’s 1 year old daughter Brailynn has retinoblastoma, a cancer that forms in the eye and needs treatment every four weeks, which cost thousands. When Randolph’s insurance company stopped paying for treatment, out of desperation, Randolph attempted to rob the credit union.
