Vodka Wars: Puff Daddy Takes Friendly Shots At 50 Cent On ‘The Breakfast Club’
50 Cent took a hilarious page out of Drake’s book on Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club this morning and sent Puff Daddy a case of his Effen vodka with note attached that reads, “Let’s be friends, Curtis Jackson.” A clever counter to Puff’s shipment of a lifetime supply of Ciroc to 50 for his 40th birthday, the gesture opened the floodgates for a little friendly banter. But first, the Bad Boy mogul gave Fif his props.
“I welcome him into the game,” Puff said. “It’s good to see somebody of my color out there representing in this field. And hopefully he appreciates me opening up the doors for him continuously.”
Things took a more competitive turn when Puff Daddy likened 50 Cent’s Effen brand to a “B-level team.” “That’s not even the summer league. That’s the league when you be in the heated gyms and it be like 20 people,” Puff said. He also noted that 50’s single case wasn’t as grand of a gestures as his life supply, calling Effen a “little company.”
“When you first starting out in these little companies, you don’t really have a lot of supply,” Puff said. “So with homeboy’s vodka, you know, maybe you could only send a case.”
