Wanted: Seeking Editorial, Social Media & Video Interns For Fall 2015
VIBE, VIBE Vixen and VIBE Viva are seeking editorial, social media and video interns with a passion for journalism and a serious interest in music and entertainment to join the NYC team.
Are you looking for a writing opportunity at one of the most influential digital publications? Do you have an interest in pop culture, music (hip-hop and R&B), fashion and sports? VIBE may be the right place for you!

Interns will also have the opportunity to conduct interviews with talent (artists, actors and prominent figures in entertainment) on behalf of the legacy brand. Must have a forward-thinking mentality and be able to work well independently.
Social media interns will be assisting the community manager with upcoming campaigns, scheduling content, engaging with VIBE, VIBE Viva & VIBE Vixen followers/readers on owned platforms while driving traffic to VIBE.com. Candidate must be detail-oriented, interested in learning about digital marketing and active on social media. A background in Photoshop is preferred, but not required.
Video interns will assist in prepping for shoots, filming and editing video content in post-production. Interns must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and hold experience with transcribing footage and creating cohesive visuals via Final Cut Pro.
