50 Cent Inks A New Two-Year Deal With Starz

50 Cent’s relationship with Starz just got tighter. The network just signed a two-year exclusive overall deal with the Queens-bred rapper, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The contract’s agreement is made to have Curtis and his G-Unit Film & Television banner develop new projects, along with executive producing Power.

“Curtis is a wonderful hands-on producer and actor on Power and we look forward to expanding his roles behind-the-camera with Starz over the next two years,” Carmi Zlotnik, Starz’s managing director said.

In doing just that, Mr. Jackson believes his television show’s success is a product of a great partnership with the network.”Starz has been the perfect partner to make Power the success that it is and I am looking forward to developing many more record-breaking series with them,” he said.

The production of Power’s third season began this month in Brooklyn. The show, is overseen by Courtney Kemp Agboh, and has garnered an average of 6.8 million viewers making it Starz’s most watched original series.
