The 'Dogg Pound 4 Life' Film Has Begun Shooting And Now Has A Full Cast
While they may not be confirmed with Universal Studios, that Dogg Pound-based movie seems to be going full-steam ahead.
While Daz Dillinger Dogg Pound-based sequel for Straight Outta Compton has not been coined as an official follow-up by Universal Studios, it looks like the rapper is still moving forward with the film. Titled DPG 4 Life, the film got underway this weekend, as photos surfaced of the cast reenacting Tupac’s storied studio session where he recorded “Ambitionz Az a Ridah” and “I Ain’t Mad at Cha,” according to TMZ.
The cast has been revealed to be:
Azad Arnaud as Daz Dillinger
Reggie Noble as Suge Knight
Melvin Jackson Jr. as Kurupt
DaDa as Tupac
Curtis Young (Dr. Dre's son) as Dr. Dre
This is the second film to be proposed as a sequel to the wildly-successful Straight Outta Compton film. Last week, news surfaced of a Welcome To Death Row filmed being shopped. The movie is slated to be based on a documentary of the same name by S. Leigh Savidge. No details have emerged about what studio Daz Dillinger will be working with to produce the film.
