Drake Finally Confirmed His Mixtape With Future After The Internet Got One Last Laugh At Meek Mill

Overzealous fans were expecting a huge release from Drake and Future on Friday night (Sept. 18) by way of a hashtag called #ViewsFromTheFuture, only to find out that it was a very extensive troll. As speculation ran amuck all week regarding the two artists’ joint mixtape, one savvy Internet user took things into their own hands by posting a countdown site online for the project, only for it to evoke yet another laugh at Meek Mill’s expense.

Titled “Put It All In A Plastic Bag,” the website’s countdown ended with a rather strange video featuring Drake, Meek, and an awkward situation:

While Twitter erupted with disappointment, Drake took the stage at the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta to reportedly confirm what everyone had only hoped. According to tweets from bystanders, Drizzy told the crowd, “take a break from Views now it’s back to that, and me and Future got a tape before that.” He also said, “Sunday will be madness,” now leading people to believe that the joint project will be released on Sunday (Sept. 20):
