Drake And Future Score Number One Album With ‘What A Time To Be Alive’
Drake and Future have another accolade to add to their resumes with the number one album in the country, What A Time To Be Alive.
The duo released their joint mixtape on Sunday (Sept. 20), and now the numbers have arrived in terms of retail sales. According to Hits Daily Double, WATTBA sold 339,538 units. It was originally slated to reach the 500,000 mark in its first week of distribution.
In an interview with The Fader, Future spoke about his musical chemistry with Drizzy during their time on WATTBA. “Drake is my brother. We have a cool personal relationship, but we have an even better relationship musically,” he said.
The mixtape was also produced by Metro Boomin, Boi-1da, Noah “40” Shebib, Southside and more.
