JoJo And Her Dance Crew Get Handsy In Her “When Love Hurts” Video
JoJo, who stole our hearts with her infectious 2004- hit single “Leave (Get Out),” is all grown up in the video for her song “When Love Hurts” off of her new super short EP, III (or her “Tringle”).
In the video, dancers move around the singer and perform various dance styles while JoJo, now 24, struts around in different white and gray ensembles in the video while singing about a tumultuous relationship.
III was released on Aug. 21, and the singles, “Say Love,” “Save My Soul,” and “When Love Hurts” are all slated to appear on her full-length solo album, which is expected to drop later this year or early next year through Atlantic Records. “Say Love” was produced by Harmony “H-Money” Samuels, “Save My Soul” was produced by The Family and Jason Evigan and Benny Blanco came together to produce “When Love Hurts.”
In a statement through Atlantic Records, JoJo said that she is excited about her upcoming album and her return to the music scene. “I’m anxious, because it’s been a long time coming, but I don’t get hung up on the fact that it’s been a long time. The time is now.”
