Kanye West Reiterates Bid For Presidential Candidacy In 2020

Kanye West recently set the stage on fire for the 2015 iHeartRadio Music Festival (Sept. 18), but his performance wasn’t the only thing that left a lasting impression on the concert’s attendees.

During his rendition of “Only One,” Yeezy added a little nod to his possible presidential run, stating, “You’ll be the man you always knew you could be — 2020.” This follows Ye’s reveal during his acceptance speech at the MTV Video Music Awards. The “Touch The Sky” rapper gave a monologue after receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award to which he notified viewers that he’s looking for your vote five years from now.

“And yes, as you probably could have guessed by this moment, I have decided in 2020 to run for president,” he said to a roaring crowd. Check out his latest performance below.
