The West Wing: 8 Things You Can Expect From Kanye’s 2020 Presidential Campaign


These days, everybody and their momma (or poppa) is seemingly throwing their hats into the presidential arena. Especially folks who’ve never even held a political position before. Take Waka Flocka Flame (who attempted it… sorta), Donald Trump (who is actually doing it) and even a 15-year-old Iowa boy who was able to get the name “Deez Nuts” on the ballot.

Now, Kanye West wants in on the political action. At the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night during his Video Vanguard speech (Aug. 30), he boldly announced, “I have decided in 2020 to run for president.”
