Lane Bryant’s #PlusIsEqual Campaign Celebrates Curvaceous Women
Lane Bryant is back with yet another initiative encouraging self-love and celebrating the beautifully curvaceous women of the world.
Their sophomore campaign, #PlusIsEqual, comes after their successful #ImNoAngel spring campaign, in which the brand came for Victoria Secret’s slim set of “Angels” featured in their “The Perfect “Body” campaign.
In the same vein of giving plus size women and models alike a voice in, the campaign feature their fall collection modeled by plus size models Graham, Huffine, Precious Victoria Lee, Justine Legault, Georgia Pratt and Sabina Karlsson posing in sexy little black outfits – fierce! On its website, the brand recalls, “Sixty-seven percent of U.S. women are size 14 to 34, but they’re underrepresented on billboards, magazines, TV … everywhere.”
Since its release, the campaign’s #PlusIsEqual hashtag has already garnered a social reach of 2 million.
