Rich People Problems: Lil Wayne Ordered To Pay $2 Million In Private Jet Lawsuit
There is yet another lawsuit with Lil Wayne’s name attached to it – and he is not on the winning side.
According to TMZ, Weezy just took a whopping “L” against a private jet company that claims the rapper went delinquent on a lease agreement. Signature Group, a firm that draws up agreements on jets, filed a lawsuit after Wayne allegedly missed payments during the first two years of his three-year lease. As of July 2014, Signature Group calculated that the Young Money boss’ tab was a whopping $1 million. Meanwhile, the rapper claims he never signed a contract.
The suit was filed last year and has since incurred a swelling late fee, bringing the judgement up to $1.8 million. Wayne was also reportedly hit with $200,000 legal expenses, which evens things out to a cool $2 million. He has not offered any comment on the ruling. This suit follows yet another levied against Wayne back in July by David Banner, who claimed that the rapper owed him unpaid royalties for two songs off his Tha Carter III album.
Those Lil Wayne lawsuit just won’t let up.
