Music News

If you’re a real Lupe Fiasco fan, you know all about the rapper’s 2007 album The Cool. For all the hard core Lupe fans who consider the LP a classic, get excited because there might be a sequel in the works.

As most artists do these days, the rapper hopped on Twitter to hint at reviving the classic album with a picture that could be the potential artwork for the album.

As if Lupe thought his fans were going to keep quiet. The artist’s mentions quickly piled up with questions and exclamations. Keeping it cool, he simply replied to all the fuss with one last tweet.

The original Cool accurately captured the true essence of Lupe Fiasco, incorporating conscious lyrics with a creative flow and beat. The album also featured a number of diverse artists including Snoop Dogg and Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump. Hopefully, the sequel follows suit. There’s no telling when The Cool 2 will release, but whenever it comes the hip hop world will be ready. It’s been a long time coming for Lupe.
