Miller Lite Conciertos Returns to Dallas on September 24th with Calibre 50

Miller Lite’s scintillating summer series of Latin-inspired Conciertos Originales continues in Dallas on 9/24, lighting up the end of the season festivities with a big time concert from one of the most renowned Hispanic banda artists at AT&T Stadium. Dive deep into VIBE Viva’s preview of the September 24th Concierto featuring the one and only Calibre 50 below:

Calibre 50-1

Who: Calibre 50

Where they’re playing: AT&T Stadium in Dallas, TX on Thursday, September 24th, 2015

Why you should go: Calibre 50 has only been around since 2010, but this group hailing from Mazatlán hasn’t wasted any time in making their mark in a crowded banda scene. They’ve released a whopping 10 albums in 5 years and solidified their place among bandas biggest acts like El Komander and Banda Los Recoditos. Their 2015 release, Siempre Contigo, blends ballads and folk anthems with a deft touch, and the layered composition shows a restraint where so many other bandas simply go off the rails. Pro Tip: “Y Te Vas,” the closing track from Siempre, sounds like an unplugged David Bowie in a very, very good way.
