Witness The Splitting Greatness Of Serena Williams At US Open 2015

Serena Williams’ splitting ability took center stage on her recent cover of New York Magazine, rocking the Internet as the image–and the tennis star’s enviable physique–trended online after its release. Thanks to the US Open, where Williams is looking to make history with a full calendar year Grand Slam, her split game is continuing to impress.

On Friday night (Sept. 4), Williams took the court against Bethanie Mattek-Sands, where she struggled in the first set. Following the win, Williams chalked the hard-fought match up to the fact that Mattek Sands “played really well.” Still eyeing the fourth and final Grand Slam title of the year to become the fourth woman to complete the feat, she turned her attention to the next hurdle, ESPN reports.

“I only have one match, the only one I’m looking forward to is the next one,” she said. “That’s all I can do. This journey has been great. Every night I come out it feels better and better.”

One time for Serena, y’all.
