Stevie Wonder Does Carpool Karaoke With James Corden And It's Awesome
Yeah, that's Stevie Wonder attempting to drive.
The Late Late Show host James Cordon has had some of music's biggest stars sit passenger while he attempts to get to work for his famous carpool karaoke segment, but Cordon took it up a notch when Stevie Wonder decided to join him.
Things got off to a bit of an awkward start when Stevie attempted to drive. (Yeah, he really did) Cordon, visibly nervous, asks the "Superstitious" singer if he felt up to it, and right before they pull off (Stevie's hands were on the steering wheel at 10 and 2) he realized he "forgot his license."
Once Cordon gets into the driver's seat the two start jamming. A highlight from the nearly 10 minute clip happened when Cordon asks Stevie if he can call his wife, Julia. Stevie obliges and serenades her with a sweet rendition of "I Just Called To Say I Love You" which prompted the English funnyman to hold back tears.
It was nothing but jokes from there on out as Stevie ran through his string of classics, while Cordon played the background singer.
