As if we didn't already know, it pays to be Beyoncé's friend. Last year, Queen Bey wanted to thank Nicki Minaj for her bars on the now classic "Flawless" remix and did so in bling-worthy fashion. To show her appreciation, Mrs. Carter gifted The Pinkprint rapper with a diamond-encrusted "FLAWLESS" necklace after Minaj's performance at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. The rapper took to Instagram to share her excitement.
"If Beyonce didn't walk into your dressing room and give you a diamond 'FLAWLESS' necklace, then there's no way you could be having a better week than me," Minaj wrote. "Lol. Awwwww thank u QUEEN. ur just a precious gem. I could never thank you enough for your influence on powerful women all around the world. #WeFlawless." Months later, Beyoncé featured on Minaj's "Feeling Myself" track.

French Montana wished his Bad Boy boss Diddy a happy birthday in a very expensive way. To celebrate the mogul's 45th birthday last year, the Coke Boys chief purchased Puff a $45,000 Cadillac Escalade. The truck, which was sitting in Sir Combs' driveway as he and his boys had a pajama party in his lavish Beverly Hills home, was a surprise gift.
Remember when Birdman and Lil Wayne were cool? The two got along so well that Weezy bought his "father" the all-white 2011 Maybach 62s Landulet for his 42nd birthday four years ago. The convertible, which set Wayne back about $1.5 million, featured motorized reclining seats and white interior with gold trimmings.
In a video flaunting the lavish gift, Birdman said, "Shout out to my son Weezy, appreciate this love. B-day love all day. YMCMB to the death, ya heard me?" According to the Cash Money head honcho, only three models of the vehicle were made.
If there was ever any doubt that 50 Cent and Young Buck put their 2008 beef (which included Fif announcing that Buck was no longer a member of G-Unit) behind them, confirmation came in the form of a $300,000 Rolls Royce that the Power star gave his friend this year. Buck excitedly showed off his new vehicle (likely purchased in celebration of Buck's 34th birthday which was three weeks earlier) on Instagram.
"@50cent BOUGHT IT FOR ME SHAWTY.....#ButItsStillMine," before a couple money bag emojis. Fif proudly commented under Buck's post, "My n*gga Buck clean as a motherf***er now what? If I say a n*gga on , HE ON!!!! Drive by looking like da milk truck f*ck it. Lol."
What do you get for the man who has everything? A skull. In celebration of Jay Z's very first Father's Day in 2012, West gave his Watch the Throne partner a $34,000 golden skull. The 18-inch gilded piece, which was covered in 24-karat gold and featured red topaz gems, was handcrafted by Lions & Sons and set on a black base. West, who became a father the next year, didn't want to risk incidentals, so he hired a courier to hand deliver the expensive gift to Hov via a private jet.
According to reports, the rapper enjoyed the skull so much that he even gave a different version of it to his now-wife, Kim Kardashian, with the initials "KKW" engraved on it over a year before the two were even engaged.
Rick Ross proved he rode for his Maybach-sized crew by purchasing $250,000 in watches for Meek Mill, Wale, and DJ Khaled to celebrate the success of his No. 1 album, Mastermind. Last March, the "Black Market" rapper purchased six watches from Rafaello & Co., the same New York jeweler that designed his fiancée, Lira Galore's engagement ring. Though it isn't clear who Rozay gifted the other three timepieces, what is known is that the Bawse is generous. Three years ago, he bought Meek Mill a 2012 Range Rover Sport for his 25th birthday. "Can’t get no better when Rozay treat you like that out of nowhere," Meek said. "Tonight we gon’ pop a hundreds bottles for the haters."
In 2012, Big Sean and Justin Bieber solidified their friendship when the "IDFWU" rapper gave the singer his $30,000 pinky ring. The ring, which Sean said he purchased when he "first started making money," caught the Biebs' attention when they met. After collaborating on Bieber's song "As Long As You Love Me" that year, Sean gave JB his ring as a thank you for introducing him to the "Beliebers."
"After he put me on his album and introduced me to a lot of his fans, I felt like, ’Yo, man, just to show my appreciation,’ I gave him the Rolex ring," Sean told MTV. "It ain’t no thing; it’s really what bosses do — we give each other gifts."
