Nelly Had An Instagram Spat Involving Ashanti And Miss Jackson, And Floyd Mayweather Chimed In

Another day, another public exchange between rappers. Try to keep up with us here.

Nelly was recently involved in an Instagram squabble with his former associate, St. Louis artist Loose Cannon S.L.I.M. after a few posts went awry. S.L.I.M dubbed singer Ashanti – who is also Nelly’s ex – as his Woman Crush Wednesday in several posts on the social network, which seemingly led to a response from Nelly. In a post of his own, the rapper/Nellyville star posted a Apple Bottoms ad for Throwback Thursday, which features the mother of S.L.I.M.’s child, going topless in a pair of the brand’s jeans:

S.L.I.M. replied with a post featuring Nelly’s current girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, whom he claimed to have had his way with during a search for models for the Apple Bottoms brand. He also accused the model/aspiring actress of getting plastic surgery, courtesy of her former relationship with Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather, who has had tensions with Nelly  in the past over Jackson, also stepped in with his two cents by instructing his followers to head over to S.L.I.M.’s Instagram page:

The Instagram exchange continued with S.L.I.M. naming other St. Louis rappers whom he alleges also have gripes with Nelly, including Chingy and former St. Lunatics member Slo Down. He also accused Nelly of hurting the careers of rapper signed to his Derrty Ent. record label. In his latest post addressing the drama, S.L.I.M. stated that his gripe with Nelly was about more than the women they were involved with.

“This shit ain’t bout no b***hes!!! Everybody knows I keep a plethora of them!! I jus named damn near 10 ppl in the city that was close to him that assisted with dat junky success and a #ENTIRE CITY that he fucced over!!! Truth is anybody wit any kind of success from #STL he have problems wit em!! I was the only one he couldn’t get!”

No telling which direction this social media spat will head in. Thankfully, Nelly appears to have returned to his regular scheduled programming for now.
