50 Cent Says Rick Ross’ Correctional Officer Past Is Why They’ve Never Had An Altercation
It's 2009 all over again, and not in a good way.
It is 2009 all over again, and not in a good way. 50 Cent and Rick Ross have reignited their beef, taking to Instagram to throw shots at one another. Beginning with banter from the G-Unit general regarding Ross’ physique, the two eventually engaged in a back-and-forth that became personal. The MMG boss threatened to hire 50’s son, and things became heated. In a recent interview with Tim Westwood, 50 Cent dug up Rick Ross’ past as a correctional officer, alluding to the rapper being a snitch.
“It’s desperation at the point that you hear from him at this point,” he told Westwood. “Because if you’re looking for someone, it ain’t that hard to find me. I’m around, and I’m not used to having an altercation with law enforcement. I’m just not used to saying that I’m gonna do something to a correctional officer, to a police officer or anyone who has been under oath that’s gonna say with no problem, everything that you’ve said and everything that’s happened immediately after.”
50 Cent also reverted to his “Officer Ricky” days by making a differentiation between Ross’ on-wax persona and his stint in the big house.
“It’s a correctional officer that is rapping like a drug dealer,” he said. “It shows you that’s the point in our culture that you can identify with you actually being who you say you are doesn’t matter. That’s the point where if it sounds good, they’re fine with it for a short period of time. You can tell they’re over it now, but they went for it.”
Looks like this beef isn’t letting up any time soon. Watch 50 Cent’s latest commentary on Rick Ross below:
