A Tribe Called Quest Will Perform On "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon"

As the iconic hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest readies the re-release of their debut record People's Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm, the group announced they'll be performing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday. (November 13)
The album's 14 tracks have been remastered by the legendary Bob Power and includes three new mixes from hip-hop greats. Pharrell Williams put his spin on "Bonita Applebum." Cee-Lo Green tackled "Footprints" and J.Cole opted out of dropping a new verse, but remixed their hit "Can I Kick It?"
"I had this album in my head for years before I did it," Q-Tip said in a statement. "Looking at it overall, to see the thoughts of a 16-year-old gain any kind of acknowledgement makes me feel like I have arrived ... But to see it in this incarnation ... I'm humbled."
People's Instinctive Travels And The Paths of Rhythm was released in April 1990 and soon became hip-hop gold. The album went onto earn high praises from music media outlets including The Sources highly coveted five mics.
