Master P is known for his rapping abilities and business savvy but now, the No Limit CEO is reminding the world of his skills on the basketball court as he recently revealed that he beat Michael Jordan in a game of street ball.

According to Master P, the O.G. Jumpman took the loss at a camp his son, Romeo, was taking part in. There, the father of nine, born Percy Miller, said that pro-ballers were already shooting hoops which prompted him to join in. In an interview with Young Jack Thriller and ThisIs50, the Louisiana native said Jordan immediately doubted his ability to make nothing but net.

“When we first got into he said, ‘Man, you ain’t no baller. You make music.’ I said, ‘I make music and I play ball.’ I had Gilbert Arenas. I had Metta World Peace, me and two other college players. Jordan had all pros playing with him,” Miller said.

The “Make ‘Em Say Uhh” rapper, who played with the Charlotte Hornets summer league for a season in 1998, said that what commenced was a ball game complete with high stakes and Miller hitting the five-time MVP.

“In a pickup game, you win or you go sit on the side. So I said, ‘I’m gonna go pick up Jordan and see what happen. The first time he go to the basket, I hit him. Then the guy who runs the camp came over like, ‘You OK, J? You OK, J?’ I said, ‘Yeah, he OK. He said he from the streets. Let’s play.’ I got Gilbert Arenas and Ron Artest real pumped up. They were like, ‘Yeah, we can beat these dudes.'”

According Miller, the lighthearted basketball game was the catalyst to he and Jordan’s years-long friendship. “It was like a real street game. Then at the end we won. I turned all the way up. It was cool. Ever since then we been friends.”
