MLKMN Recreates ‘Waist Deep’ Scene For New “R.I.P.” Single Featuring Mila J


MLKMN is back on the music scene following his triumphant debut album Milkstape, released last fall. The Chicano rapper is keeping his wave of success rippling as he delivers a visual for his newest single “R.I.P.,” which boasts the melodious vocals of Mila J.

The video captures Milk and his on-screen lady, Katalina Viteri, tapping into their inner Bonnie and Clyde, à la Waist Deep (2006), the drama-action flick starring Tyrese Gibson and Meagan Good.

The pair can be seen holding up a burger spot as the lyrics of “R.I.P.” are brought to life in order to show that love can make you do just about anything, including break the law. Talk about a ride or die.

“R.I.P.” is the lead track off of Milk’s upcoming sophomore LP, Soy Milk, set for release soon.
