P. Diddy Says "MMM" Is The Precursor To His Final Album "No Way Out 2"
The self-proclaimed "international superstar" says it's time for him to let the next wave of artists shine.
The birthday boy, Sean "P.Diddy" Combs stopped by Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club Wednesday (November 4) to discuss his latest offering #MMM.
Not a mixtape or an album, Diddy refers to his musical opus as a sonic motion picture in which he admits the inspiration came from the cult classic Paid In Full.
"I wanted to pay homage to Paid In Full, but wasn't directly linked to it," the 46-year-old business mogul said.
While speaking to DJ Envy, the Harlem native--who ironically wore a Brooklyn fitted--said Money Making Mitch is himself at his purest.
"This is me back on my bull. This is New York to the fullest. It's return of Puff Daddy and The Family. I like experimenting with things, but sometimes it's time to come home, and I'm definitely home with the album."
After gifting the talking heads with Ciroc and personally offering Charlamagne a bottle of DeLeon Tequila, Diddy said the next two years will be devoted to crafting No Way Out 2, touring and going out on top. When pressed by Envy as to why he's hanging it up, the father of six simply said it's time.
