Premiere: Courtnie Releases Feel-Good Song Off ‘Nebula’ EP, “You So”

This mid-west native has returned to satisfy your new music desires. Courtnie recently dropped her latest melody “You So,” an inspirational and celebratory track for listeners.

The chords and drums fit perfectly in the background, allowing Courtnie’s vocals to carry the instrumental. “This some Afrocentric sh*t, like we’re in the 90’s,” she begins the mellow tune, which also serves as an ode to Black people and their culture, which she explains below.

According to Courtnie, the Brandon Combs-produced track was created “in light of all that’s going on with black America right now, from police brutality to revolutionary acts at Mizzou near my hometown St. Louis, this track couldn’t be more relevant. You So is about how poetic we are as a people.”
