Terrorist Attacks In Paris Leave Dozens Dead

Police reports are stating that at least 100 people have been killed following an attack during a Rock concert at The Bataclan in Paris, France, the New York Times states. The terrorist attacks took place Friday night (Nov. 13), with multiple locations reporting casualties, one being near the Stade de France where a soccer match between France and Germany was underway.

Explosions were detonated sporadically near the sports stadium, but it’s unclear where the shootings occurred. ABC News reports there were three explosions and two shootings in various locations of the city. Updated reports reveal that two terrorists linked to the massacre were killed by authorities. France’s President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency and closed the borders.

President Barack Obama issued a statement on the attacks, stating, “This is an attack not just on Paris, it’s an attack not just on the people of France, but this is an attack on all of humanity and the universal values that we share.”

Updates will be added as new information is revealed.
