The Game Makes His Own Top 10 Rappers List, Says Lauryn Hill Can’t Out-Rap Snoop Dogg
The Game joined a host of other rappers who were livid after the release of Billboard’s “10 Greatest Rappers of All Time” list. Taking to Instagram, the Los Angeles rapper slammed the magazine for its picks, which excluded Tupac, and filled a few controversial spots with Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne and Lauryn Hill. Taking things further than just slandering Billboard, The Game created a list of his own.
Giving props to Snoop Dogg – who also blasted the list – The Game knocked the three picks that had everyone talking, and gave the top spot to both Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G. He also made mention of LL Cool J and KRS One, although they did not make his final top ten. The Game’s version of the list was met with favor from Snoop Dogg, who posted a video in response, and complimented the Documentary 2 album. The Game warned against making top 10 lists that fail to include Tupac, Ice Cube or Snoop.
