Tyra Banks Reveals Why She Left The ‘FABLife’ Daytime Talk Show
Tyra Banks is focusing her attention on dominating another market in the beauty industry, and if that means leaving a certain television program behind to do so, then so be it.
The supermodel announced that she’s departing from her co-hosting duties on the FABLife daytime talk show to focus all of her time and energy on building her Tyra Beauty empire. The makeup line was launched a few years ago, and was even featured on Banks’ long-standing competition show, America’s Next Top Model.
In an interview with USA Today, Banks revealed the reason why she made this decision was due to the fact that FABLife “competed for my time in a way that you cannot run a business and do a daytime talk show. And I thought I could. And I can’t.”
Rumors were swirling that there was a rift between Banks and fellow supermodel Chrissy Teigen, which was completely false. Teigen even took to her Twitter account to publish her sentiments on the matter. “I dunno if you guys know how bosses work but if Tyra and I were fighting as hard as you’re saying, I would be the one off the show.”
