For The 99 And The 2000s: Marty Baller & A$AP Ferg Pay Homage To The Big Tymers On “Big Timers”

Music News

By now, A$AP Ferg is no stranger to the game, standing somewhere in between being a new comer and an OG. And to commemorate his position in the game, the rapper has enlisted rising, Harlem artist, Marty Baller to celebrate true veterans on his new track, “Big Timers.”

The track pays homage to the Big Tymers’ 2000 release, “Get Your Roll On,” featuring Birdman and Mannie Fresh. Still keeping the same bounce beat from the original, Ferg and Baller slow down their own delivery, producing a more unique and fresh take on the classic. Although differing in flow, the track trades verses similar to the Big Tymer’s original.

For two somewhat youngins in the game, the track is a nice rendition. It’s too bad considering the drama in the Cash Money family that Mannie Fresh, Birdman and the rest of the team will be able to come together and reminisce on the good times.

Nevertheless, take a listen to A$AP Ferg and new comer Marty Baller on “Big Timers.”
