In the highly-publicized premiere episode for season seven’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, the comic and commander-in-chief spend the day together on the White House Grounds. The two enjoy lunch in a staff dining room, discuss each other’s work out regimen and then enjoy a drive on the property in Seinfeld’s silver-blue 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, which Obama got to drive.

During an interview with CNN, Seinfeld likened hanging out with President Obama to something out of this world.

“Growing up in the ’60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut — doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space,” he said.
