Taking a cue from the thieves who broke into his California home earlier this month, Big Sean penned an open letter, letting them know despite the material items they stole, his 2015 was still pretty dope.

“We counted a lot more wins than loses, and to me that’s worth more than damn near anything,” the Dark Sky Paradise emcee writes.

Despite taking the high road, Sean couldn’t resist letting the thieves know they still came up short.

“BTW, you took the wrong hard drive,” he continues.

Sean used the open letter as an opportunity to release his latest single “What A Year” featuring Pharrell and Detail. Sean posted a snippet of the video on his Instagram Wednesday night (December 30), which showed many of Sean’s successes in 2015 including sold out concerts and working in the studio with Skateboard P.
