Chance the Rapper Gears Up For ‘SNL’ Performance In Promo Video

Movies & TV

Chance the Rapper is set to bless the Saturday Night Live stage (Dec. 12), and in preparation of showcasing the young Chicago rapper’s recent success, SNL has released a promo video featuring a 1-minute reel filled with awkward moments and a “hot guy sandwich.”

The video features Chano alongside the upcoming host, Thor star, Chris Hemsworth and cast member, Bobby Moynihan. In the three-take segment, the trio act out short skits. In the first take, the guys get real close, showing off their bromance. Moynihan points out the “hot guy sandwich,” while Hemsworth follows with a joke. Chance clearly isn’t having it, but in the second take, he shares some facts on the three-man wolf pack. And finally, the promo video wraps up with the rapper urging the others to share some rhymes. The video cuts before we could hear them spit a verse, but stay tuned for more funny moments and a musical performance by the “Juice” artist once SNL premieres tomorrow evening.

And in addition to his sneak-peek video, Chance dropped a personal promotional reel on Instagram, which is appropriate considering he is the first independent artist to be featured on the SNL stage.
