Drake Wore $20,000 Kicks While He Watched The Warriors Defeat The Raptors

Drake was in the building at the Air Canada Centre on Saturday night (Dec. 5) when he witnessed Stephen Curry lead his Warriors to yet another win, adding another notch to their now 21-0 record. But it wasn’t a complete loss for Drizzy – at least not in the sneaker department. As he looked on at the close game, the OVO head honcho was sporting some sought after kicks. How sought after? The “worth $20,000” kind of sought-after.

The rapper was spotted in Eminem’s Air Jordan IV collaboration with Carhartt, which moved on eBay for about $20,000 a pair in a limited edition release for his Marshall Mathers Foundation. The all-black canvas kicks feature Eminem’s Shady Records logo and his signature hockey mask and backwards “E.” So as Drake stomached the 112-109 loss for his Raptors, at least he had on good sneakers.

Drake took to Instagram following the Warriors’ win to congratulate Curry on the continuation of his streak.

“Always hurts to see the home team take a L,” he wrote. “But this guy is the definition of class and talent and deserves everything right now!”
