And while most in the hip-hop community rejoiced over K.Dot’s success, Chicago native Lupe Fiasco couldn’t help but voice his angst with not receiving a nomination for his fifth studio album Tetsuo & Youth.

The 16-track LP, which Pitchfork described as Lupe’s ” dive back into rapping for its own sake like it’s a big dusty novel he’s been waiting to pick back up for years.” was more than deserving, of a Grammy nod, according Lupe.

Despite his hurt feeling, Lupe seemed to take the loss in comedic stride.

Aww, chin up, Lupe.
