Meek Mill Mandated To Perform Community Service On New Year’s Eve
After a less-than-stellar year for Meek Mill, the rapper will have to kick off 2016 on an introspective note.
Although he was scheduled to perform with girlfriend and rumored fiancee Nicki Minaj at a NYE bash at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas, Nev., Meek will have to sit out due to a court ordered performance of community service on the biggest party night of the year, XXL reports.
The rapper, who was found guilty of violating his probation from a 2008 conviction, is not allowed to leave his hometown of Philadelphia until his Feb. 5 sentencing.
Sources are claiming that the MMG cohort’s probation officer, Treas Underwood, has it out for the Dreamchasers 4 MC, and is intent on keeping her client on probation as long as possible. Her overly-watchful eye reportedly had Meek on the hunt for a new probation officer for some time.
“She’s from his neighborhood and he had an altercation with her cousin Coo when they were younger,” a source told Page Six of the history between the two.
Hopefully things start to look up for Meek in the new year.
