Nelly Reportedly Cancels UK Tour Amidst Terrorism Concerns
The rapper has scrapped a mini-tour overseas, but could the fear of terrorism be the cause?
Rapper Nelly has scrapped his UK mini-tour, and the reason is reportedly due to growing terrorism concerns across the pond, according to Metro UK.
The rapper was slated to kick off his string of concerts at London's Koko Club on Monday (Dec. 14), but the 02 Ritz in Manchester, that was scheduled to host the rapper's show later in the week, wrote on their website that due to "unforseen circumstances," he had to cancel the remainder of the performances. The shows will be rescheduled and the tickets will still remain valid for the new performance dates.
Nelly, who recently settled a felony charge concerning his tour bus, has not commented on the matter, but TMZ claims that people connected to the star said that the growing threat of terrorism caused him to 86 the shows.
